Spring Update for Zoner Photo Studio Introduces True HDR Image Editing
Zoner Photo Studio X introduced a Spring Update which promises “the best HDR photo-editing in the world” and other features.
According to Zoner
The Zoner Photo Studio is one of the first teams in the world that supports HDR editing.
Jan Kupcik is the product manager for Photo Studio at Zoner. He also elaborates the efforts put in by the Zoner team.
During development, hundreds of hours were spent testing HDR displays in order to ensure the quality and accuracy of the HDR photos.
Zoner Photo Studio X will be “amongst the first photo editing programs to include HDR” with its “true HDR editing integration”.
The company says, “This includes the most comprehensive HDR formats support and the highest level of comfort when editing HDR images.” “All properly tested on dozens different monitors that support HDR.”
Zoner users can now take advantage of HDR technology in their photos by using the spring update.
The company says that RAW files from many modern cameras are enough to create HDR photo editing workflows. However, you need the right software, and a monitor, to achieve this visual quality.
According to the company, Zoner’s new HDR technology replaces traditional HDR techniques such as tone-mapping or exposure bracketing.
Before using ZPS X at its best, users will need to calibrate both their HDR monitors as well as ZPS X.
