Review of the Westcott U60-B Bi-Color LED Softbox Kit
As a photographer with a limited budget, I had been searching for a beginner’s light set-up that was relatively affordable for a long time.
I used to rent lights (Profoto studios strobes) when I needed them, but it’s not the best option for me when I am on the move.
Westcott’s new U60B Bi-Color Softbox Kit was released just as I was deciding which kit to purchase.
Westcott is a great company, and I loved their entry level speedlight. I was eager to try this new Content Creator’s Lighting Kit.
The U60B Bi-Color Softbox Kit is a constant-light kit, as opposed to a flash. This makes it ideal for both video and photography.
The price is also very attractive. Strobes are currently way beyond my budget.
These kits are available in three different light options: one, two, and three lights. They are designed to be used by content creators looking for their very first high-quality setup.
This review will share my findings from using the three-light set up on a portrait photo shoot.
Let’s start with the specifications.
